I replaced my 18 year old Laing SMT-303-BSW pump with this one. It was a perfect fit and total installation time was about 10 minutes. 1) It took about 3 minutes to add the new timer to the bottom of the new pump - it comes separately but installation instructions were excellent - you just take one screw out, carefully put on the timer, and replace the screw!

Laing sent me an impeller free of charge, and it too only lasted a couple months. Then they sent me a new pump, and impeller, and also an old style 303 impeller.
